Solange Knowles Debuts ‘Lovers in the Parking Lot’ Music Video
Earlier today Solange Knowles took to Twitter to make few announcements.
Beyonce’s little sister premiered the official music video for “Lovers in the Parking Lot” which was filmed at Houston’s Kings Flea Market lifted from her “True” EP.
The colorful clip features Solange wearing some very bright outfits and shoes as she dances around while singing the break up tune.
Solange explained why she picked the market:
“Sooooo many memories at Kings Flea Market. Buying my rims, my nameplates, my bang for the trunk, my fake cross colours, my pickles…”
The “Losing You” singer added that she knew that she wanted exactly where she wanted to film the clip the moment she started writing the track:
“When I wrote the song, I saw the video…..& knew it had to have 2 things: 1. Mannie Fresh (I sampled his drums) 2. Lots of hair flipping.”
The big haired diva was very appreciative of the positive response she got from her fans:
“Thank u guys for the video luv:) Means the most……! So appreciative, and so stoked for it to finally come out!!!!”
Along with her new clip, Solange broke some news by saying that she is hard at work on her upcoming 4th studio album that will be out soon:
“Have not slept in 4 days, working round the clock to turn in my first release on @SaintRecords. Hella hella excited to tell you more soon! (sic)”

Beyonce Nearly Pulled Off Stage By Fan In Brazil
Beyonce is a real trooper.
On Sunday night the woman known as King B. was performing her hit song “Irreplaceable” in front of thousands of fans at the Estádio do Morumbi in São Paulo, Brazil when she was pulled off stage by a concert goer.
Wearing a glittery blue body suit, Queen Bey was greeting her passionate Brazilian supporters when a shirtless man hugged her and eventually dragged her down into the crowd.
Despite being scared, Beyonce who is currently on her Mrs Carter World Tour just kept singing.
At the end of the performance while the fans were screaming her name, she shook the man’s hands, asked him for his name and told him that she loves him.
Just few months ago, a rude male concert goer slapped Beyonce on her butt as she was touring in Europe.
Beyonce who has friends in high places like President Obama and First Lady Michelle is seen by many as the ultimate entertainer class act.
She can now count Stevie Nicks as one of supporters. The singer told British paper The Telegraph that Bey is not skanky and could be considered as a good role model for young girls growing up.
The incident that took place in Brazil this week seems to confirm the “Single Ladies” artist’s status as a professional and classy act.

Katy Perry Calls Rihanna A Heavy Weed Smoker
Rihanna must be telling herself right now – with friends like Katy Perry who needs enemies.
Miss Perry graces the cover of Elle Canada and inside the mag she revealed to the world that her BFF Rihanna is more or less a drug addict who is wasting her time on Instagram.
The “Roar” singer who was apparently joking during the interview said that she has no idea how Rihanna can look so stunning with the impressive amount of weed that she smokes on a daily basis.
Katy Perry explained:
“I think Rihanna always looks so fresh and I’m like, ‘How do you do that? We all know how much pot you smoke!And you don’t sleep because you’re on Instagram at four o’clock in the morning.”
This is not the first time Perry has called out her pal publicly – few months ago she slammed her for getting back with Chris Brown while chatting with the British version of Elle.

In related Rihanna news, the “We Found Love” singer debuted a snippet of a new song in China few days ago.
The track will appear on her upcoming album that will probably be out in November like she usually does every year.
